Yes , No Questions .
1 . Sentences with helping verbs or modals are made
questions by inversion [ using the helping verb or modal before the subject ] .
He is a clever doctor .
Is he a clever doctor ?
She can drive a car .

He could solve the problem .

She has finished her dinner .

2 . Sentences with present or past verbs are made
questions by adding “do” , “does” for present simple , and “did” for the past
simple before the sentence and using the infinitive .
