Degrees Of Comparison

1 . We form the degree of comparison of most adjectives by adding (-er) - comparative or

(-est) to the positive degree - superlative .

6 . Equality is expressed by [ as … adjective …. as ]

Negative is expressed by [ not so …. adjective …. as ]

Examples

She is as old as her brother .

It isn’t hot today as it was yesterday .

French isn’t as difficult as Chinese .
